Services
Metro Boston Alive hosted daily meetings based on recovery from Monday thru Sunday for over 30 years. As of Covid 19 the daily format had to be changed for safety reason's and now the center is working on bringing more services now that the ban is slowly being lifted. We are seeking grants from the city to provide more services needed for today’s crisis with more rounded services for the entire family in these trouble times.
The center has been a go to place for various interventions and suggestions for the addiction community, also those in transition. All are welcome to stop by or call. There is a Martial Art class as well. Contact us to get more info on times and classes. We are open to suggestions to better service the community. The Marcus Garvey building has been an urban center in the community for many years. Metro Boston Alive wants to provide basic skills to uplift people to be more prepared, but we can't do it alone, it takes a village, to get there we need your help through donations and volunteer services. Our services are free to the public so, if you are interested in helping us, please contact the center with your donations, ideas and concerns. Anything donated or services provided to our none-profit center will surely be very much appreciated Yours Truly Greg Davis Director at Metro Boston Alive. Today’s employment opportunity requires a bare Minimum of computer skill and an e-mail address, so we would like to add that to our menu of services. Our services are not large so they are more concentrated and centered around dealing with substance abuse. By adding those services, we help the recovering addicts and anyone and their family’s to be more equipped in these troubled times. |
